Take part in supporting local schools as a Special Education Teacher, providing essential services across multiple sites in the community. This contract opportunity extends through May 2027 and offers diverse settings, including elementary, middle, high school, and PreK environments. You’ll make a meaningful difference by fostering inclusive learning and tailoring support to students’ individual needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must hold an active South Carolina Special Education Teacher License with Multi-categorical certification or relevant credentials
• Recent experience working with students in Special Education, especially within moderate and co-taught classrooms, is highly desirable
• Familiarity with multiple educational settings, from self-contained to co-taught resource rooms
• Ability to adapt quickly to the needs of students at various grade levels (PreK–12)
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction in settings ranging from moderate to co-taught and multi-categorical self-contained classrooms
• Collaborate with general education teachers, instructional support teams, and families to provide holistic support
• Assess students’ progress, adapt plans accordingly, and participate in IEP meetings
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student performance, accommodations, and modifications
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages learning, growth, and independence
