Proman Skilled Trades is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Insulators for commercial HVAC projects in the Houston area.
Job Responsibilities:
- I nstall insulation on piping, ductwork, chillers, and other mechanical systems.
- Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
- Install and secure metal jacketing, vapor barriers, and protective coverings.
- Work with fiberglass, foam, rubber, mineral wool, and other insulation materials.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience of as a Mechanical Insulator preferred.
- Ability to read tape measures and perform basic math calculations.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds, and lifts.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
