Working as an Imaging - IR Tech in Douglasville offers exposure to a leading medical setting, where you'll collaborate closely with radiologists, vascular surgeons, and cardiologists. This role provides the opportunity to refine your technical abilities and expand your resume with advanced interventional, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional procedures. Schedule/Hours:

• Day shift, 4 x 10-hour shifts per week
• Includes 1 weekday night every 4th weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun)

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
• Current ARRT (CV, VI, or R), or RCIS credentials upon hire
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Interventional Special Procedures (IR, cardiac, or vascular hybrid)
• Competency in patient positioning, radiation protection, and advanced imaging techniques
• Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously after orientation

Responsibilities:

• Independently perform a broad range of interventional and hybrid procedures
• Prep patients, maintain sterile fields, and prepare equipment/supplies
• Accurately document procedures and inputs
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedural care
• Assist in training and in-service activities for imaging staff
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and department policies
• Consistently ensure patient safety, privacy, and quality outcomes
• Participate in the call rotation and adapt to changing departmental needs
