What You'll Do - You'll Make The Moment Prepare and record journal entries to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Perform balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations and investigate variances. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. Analyze financial data and assist with the preparation of financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation. Research accounting issues and apply GAAP guidance when appropriate. Maintain and monitor general ledger accounts to ensure completeness and accuracy. Assist in developing and documenting accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Collaborate with business partners and other departments to obtain information necessary for accounting activities. Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies, operational issues, and management inquiries. Support internal and external audit requests by providing schedules, documentation, and explanations. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of accounting operations. Bachelor Degree in accounting or Business Degree from accredited university and 1-3 years related experience Eligible to sit for uniform CPA exam per state requirements or equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. Working knowledge of accounting systems and internal systems of control. Strong interpersonal skills.
