Employment Type: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift Description: POSITION SUMMARY & HIGHLIGHTS: We are looking for a full time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Trauma General Surgery Unit in Boise! This is a 32 bed step down unit that cares for patients across the full spectrum of acute care surgical procedures and minor trauma cases. Self Schedule: Full-Time Nights, three 12-hour shifts per week. 7pm - 7am. Rotating Weekends This position is eligible for a Sign On Bonus and a Relocation Assistance package Introducing a new care model. We are excited to introduce Trinity Health Virtual Connected Care-a transformational team care model designed to improve patient care while providing nurses and care partners new opportunities and support. Locally based virtual RNs (vRNs) provide 24/7 care and help to patients and their families, while collaborating with bedside RNs and care partners to provide excellent care. WHAT YOU WILL DO: * Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with members of the health care team in the ongoing assessment, planning and treatment of patients and families. * Utilizes resources wisely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. * In addition to providing hands-on nursing care, works and serves in a broad range of capacities including, but not limited to, delegation, assessment, planning of care and treatment, teaching of the patient and the patient's family. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * A current RN license is required. * Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire. * At hire, Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
