AMS is looking to add a Work Planner to our team! - Conducts safety audits.
- Inspects rights-of-way (ROW) and easements for trim, removal, and chemical treatment requirements.
- Marks vegetation as required.
- Collects and reports data required by Line Clearing contractors.
- Notifies and communicates with customers as required.
- Travel requirements for these positions may vary based on the specific work location and project needs. Candidates should be prepared for occasional travel, both day and overnight, as necessary.
- Drive a company vehicle safely to work locations for the organization.
- Minimum thirty (30) semester credits or forty-five (45) quarter credits towards a degree from an accredited college /university OR 2-3 years of UVM experience without degree.
- Species and hazard tree identification skills, invasive species, and tree growth knowledge.
- Computer and communication skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards.
- ISA or equivalent certification preferred, but not required.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
