Grounds Attendant

Job is WEEKENDS only through September. All of October will be Thursday to Sunday. Season ends mid November. Pay is 12.00 per hour. 

A Clean-Up Team Member must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment that needs to remain clean at all times.  This position calls for someone who is very people oriented.  Verbal communication skills are extremely important.  Must assist in clean-up functions that include, but are not limited to, sweeping, cleaning, emptying trash cans, keeping the park clean and working as a team.  A clean-up team member must be able to work well under pressure, be a team player, and be customer service oriented.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

1. Must have excellent guest service skills.
2. Must be able to operate clean-up department equipment.
3. Must be able to continuously walk through and clean an assigned area for an entire workday.
4. Must be able to assist in moving tables and chairs as needed
5. Must be able to empty trashcans and replace trash bags inside them.
6. Must be able to clean restrooms.
7. Must work honestly and efficiently.
8. Must be able to work independently.
9. Must follow park safety guidelines and procedures.
10. Must be willing to help other departments as needed.
11. Responsible for checking work schedule and being on time when scheduled to work.

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

 

1. Must be able to work in a team environment.
2. Must be able to present new and innovative ideas on how to improve procedures, etc.
3. Must possess good math and writing skills.
4. Must have a high sense of commitment, as well as good people skills.
5. Must be dependable and honest.
6. Must be able to perform other duties and responsibilities deemed necessary by Management.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

 

1. Must be at least 16 years old.
2. Running, being able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs, and basic math, reading, and writing skills.
