Finish Carpenter / Millwork & Solid Surface Fabricator

Description

Stevens Industries is hiring skilled craftspeople for our millwork and solid surface production team. If you have experience in finish carpentry, cabinetmaking, custom millwork, or countertop fabrication, we would like to talk with you.

This is hands-on shop work that calls for accurate measurements, careful fitting, and a clean finished product. You will build pieces used in schools, healthcare facilities, and other commercial spaces.

What you'll do

• Read shop drawings and measure, cut, fit, and assemble custom pieces.
• Use hand tools and woodworking equipment safely and accurately.
• Check your work for fit, finish, and quality before it leaves the shop.
• Learn our materials and processes for millwork and solid surface fabrication.

Requirements

What we're looking for

• Experience in finish carpentry, cabinetmaking, custom millwork, or a similar skilled trade .
• Ability to read a tape measure, follow drawings, and work to precise dimensions.
• Experience fitting and finishing work where appearance and detail matter.
• Solid surface fabrication experience is a plus; we can train an experienced carpenter on our specific materials and methods.

Shift Hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with overtime scheduled on Fridays as needed.

Salary Description

$23.00 to $27.00 per hour
