Sterling Heights, MI, US Job Description Performs receiving, accounting, and distribution operations associated with incoming product deliveries for the store. Job Responsibilities Maximizes sales potential through effective and proper procedures for receiving all product entering the location. Verifying actual product against packing slips Confirming product integrity Checking product temperatures as needed. Reconciles all invoices Follows up with vendors regarding accounts payable. Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings. Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner. Maintains or ensures maintenance of a safe, clean, and well-organized working and shopping environment. Immediately reports safety hazards and violations; communicates operational concerns. Job Skills Demonstrated decision-making ability, leadership skills and ability to prioritize. Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills. Capable of teaching others in a positive and constructive manner. Demonstrated decision-making ability, leadership skills, and ability to prioritize and delegate. Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications. Physical Requirements / Working Conditions Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours, sitting 1-4 hours. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. May require use of ladders.
