Manager II, Transportation Services (MAND-5)

Job Summary BASIC FUNCTION Under direction, plan, organize, control, and manage the transportation services, operations, and vehicle maintenance of the district; administer district transportation policies; supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned staff. Requirements / Qualifications TRAINING, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE Any combination of work experience and education or equivalent to a bachelor’s degree with a major in business administration, public administration, or other related field, and four years increasingly responsible supervisory experience in transportation. Licenses And Other Requirements Valid California driver’s license; provide personal automobile and proof of insurance. Driver’s license Class A or B with Passenger and school bus endorsement preferred Comments And Other Information Your 3 Professional References (section after "Work Experience") must consist of at least (1) from a current supervisor*. Internal candidates: if your current supervisor is the hiring manager (Jeff Winn) you must provide a professional reference from an alternate superior. You may not list the hiring manager as a professional reference.
