Job Title
The job duties include:
• Providing comprehensive treatment services across all levels of care, from inpatient programs to routine and intensive outpatient services, including emergency and telehealth options.
• Developing treatment and rehabilitation plans and providing appropriate therapeutic treatment services that may include medication management, electroconvulsive therapy, transcranial magnetic stimulation, various individual and group therapy modalities.
• Prescribing appropriate pharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatment.
• Providing appropriate referrals to other medical and mental health care providers in and outside of MTF.
• Serving as a member of local Medical Evaluation Boards for assessment and determination of duty.
• Participating in hospital approved mental health training programs.
• Regularly presenting research and recommendations at national academic and professional organization conferences, in order to advance the field of psychiatry.
