This is a great opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys client-facing work, tax planning, and mentoring staff while being part of a supportive, family-oriented firm culture.The ideal candidate will have strong public accounting tax experience, an active CPA license, and experience working with business and individual tax clients, including partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, and high-net-worth individuals.ResponsibilitiesReview complex individual, partnership, corporate, trust, and estate tax returnsAdvise clients on tax planning strategies, including high-net-worth and multi-state tax mattersBuild and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and quality serviceSupervise, mentor, and support staff and senior accountantsReview client engagements and ensure quality control procedures are followedStay current on tax regulations and industry trends and apply that knowledge to client strategiesPartner with firm leadership and support a collaborative, client-focused team environmentParticipate in networking and maintain professional relationships within the industryQualificationsActive CPA license requiredBachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s in Tax preferred7+ years of public accounting tax experienceStrong experience with C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and individual taxationHigh-net-worth tax planning experienceMulti-state and/or consolidated return experience preferredPrior supervisory or mentoring experienceStrong research, organizational, multitasking, and client-service skillsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsScheduleAtlanta office: Hybrid schedule, 2 days remote / 3 days in officeKennesaw office: OnsiteBusy season: Approximately 55 hours per week during January–April 15 and September 15–October 15Non-busy season: Approximately 40 hours per weekBenefits and PerksDirect-hire opportunityEnd-of-year bonus potentialAnnual performance reviewsSupportive, family-oriented firm cultureProfessional growth and leadership opportunityStrong and established client baseHybrid flexibility available for the Atlanta officeTeam events and a collaborative work environmentTop RequirementsActive CPA licenseStrong C corporation and S corporation tax experienceHigh-net-worth tax planning experience #HP1
