Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) located in Kingwood, Texas. This position involves providing respiratory care for pediatric patients in a high-volume unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role predominantly requires critical care experience and patient assessment skills, with a focus on performing treatment procedures as ordered by physicians.

Job Details:

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, and Years of Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 0 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
• Location Requirements: The position is based in Kingwood, Texas, and candidates must be licensed to work in the state of Texas.
• Schedule: Nights shift, with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 07/06/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Texas state license, BLS and ACLS certifications, critical care experience, patient assessment skills, ability to perform treatment procedures as ordered by physician.
• Additional Information: Floating to different units is mandatory. All respiratory therapists will be assigned to various units during rotation; staff working consecutive shifts may remain on the same unit if staffing permits. Candidates should adhere to the dress code of pewter scrub attire. Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) work is required, with no on-call responsibilities.
