Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with Home Health experience for a 13-week travel contract serving a geriatric patient population across a defined territory in the Far East Bay Area of California.

Details

• Home Health setting serving a geriatric patient population
• Territory covers the Far East region, spanning Discovery Bay to Pittsburg
• Average patient load of 5-7 patients per day
• Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• EMR: HCHB (experience required); OASIS experience preferred
• iPad provided for documentation; mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Home Health PT experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Active PT license required if applicable
• HCHB EMR experience required
• Must be willing to travel within a territory of up to 60 miles from the hub/office
• Must be able to meet productivity standards

Additional Information

• Travelers are expected to be flexible with territory assignments
• OASIS experience is preferred but not required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted and eligible for the travel rate
• Scrubs required in any color; jeans are not permitted
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
