Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms. \n
- Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that are aligned with their personal goals and preferences, utilizing best practices in mental health care. \n
- Implement evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to address specific client needs. \n
- Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, therapeutic options, and self-care strategies to enhance their coping mechanisms. \n
- Monitor and evaluate client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans based on evolving needs and feedback. \n
- Engage in collaborative efforts with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients. \n
- Stay informed of new research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance therapeutic approaches and efficacy. \n
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions while adhering to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards. \n
- Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to continuously enhance personal and team competencies. \n
- Advocate for clients' mental health needs, addressing any barriers they may face while promoting awareness around mental health stigma. \n
This role primarily focuses on serving individuals dealing with various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our clients may range from homeless individuals to domestic abuse survivors, each seeking supportive guidance through difficult times. The LMFT will play a crucial role in helping these clients navigate their challenges and achieve lasting change.

- Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). \n
- A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required. \n

- A deep understanding of mood disorders, treatment options, and innovative therapy techniques. \n
