Purchasing Administrator (Temporary)

SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a Purchasing Administrative Assistant who is an organized, multi-tasker that likes a fast-paced environment. We need a self-starter that can work remotely but come into the office in Syracuse as needed. Our procurement and supply chain staff need dependable support that keeps our team current with the ever-changing supply chain environment. This important work not only helps our team, but the production teams and our suppliers as well. Below are the day-to-day responsibilities

• Data entry/purchase order entry
• Contacting suppliers for information
• Return Authorization
• Follow up on Acknowledgements and request for quotes (RFQs)
• Filing
• Place purchase orders and credit card orders
• Supporting buyers, compliance, supply chain and planning team as needed
• Help with lunch/business meeting food ordering and offsite/meeting organization

• High School with 0+ years of related experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite required, especially excel, and sharepoint
• Selected candidate must be a proven team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
