A school district in the Maricopa, Arizona area is urgently seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their team ASAP. Due to a critical staffing shortage, the district is moving quickly and conducting interviews immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for an OT looking for a high-paying school-based position, guaranteed full-time hours, and the chance to make an immediate impact on students' lives.

Position Details

Position: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Maricopa, AZ Area
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Full-Time
Hours: Typically 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Caseload

Occupational therapy services for approximately 50 students
Collaboration with developmental preschool programs serving students across multiple sites
Support students with a variety of developmental and educational needs

Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide direct occupational therapy services
Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Maintain required documentation and compliance standards
Help students improve functional, academic, and daily living skills

Qualifications

Active Arizona Occupational Therapist License
School-based experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for helping students succeed
