Equipment CoordinatorCarrier Rental Systems is seeking a motivated, energetic, customer-focused individual to join the organization as an Equipment Coordinator to support our Charlotte, NC Depot.This position is responsible for assisting with scheduling of equipment maintenance, repair, and quality control, as well as shipping and receiving with respect to the rental equipment fleet.Key ResponsibilitiesSchedule preventive maintenance with the Lead Tech(s) and Depot Manager.Coordinating freight or logistic between freight brokers and our customersLoad and unload equipment in the yard.Inspect equipment leaving the yard (verify tagging status).Verify proper bill of lading prior to equipment leaving the yard.Verify equipment returning to the yard matches the original bill of lading.Inspect equipment returning from customer sites for damage and inform Depot Manager of the damage and cost to repair.Establish and maintain spare parts and equipment inventories.Maintain trailers inspections and registrations.Maintain active task list for equipment repairs in the yard.Follow and maintain the environmental health and safety (EH&S) plan for the facility operation as stated in the Monthly Activity Plan (MAP) and Web based EH&S procedures with guidance from the Depot Manager.Complete all on-line required courses.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or GED.6+ months of warehouse experience.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Overtime is required.Valid Driver's license.Preferred QualificationsExperience in a quality controlStrong communication and customer service skills.Proficient in Word and Excel computer programs.Ability to multitask in a very fast past environmentBenefitsEmployees are eligible for benefits, including:Health Care benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision; wellness incentivesRetirement benefitsTime Off and Leave: Paid vacation days, up to 15 days; paid sick days, up to 5 days; paid personal leave, up to 5 days; paid holidays, up to 13 days; birth and adoption leave; parental leave; family and medical leave; bereavement leave; jury duty; military leave; purchased vacationDisability: Short-term and long-term disabilityLife Insurance and Accidental Death and DismembermentTax-Advantaged Accounts: Health Savings Account; Healthcare Spending Account; Dependent Care Spending AccountTuition AssistanceTo learn more about our benefits offering, please click here Work with us | Carrier Corporate The specific benefits available to any employee may vary depending on state and local laws and eligibility factors, such as date of hire and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.Pay Range:The hourly rate for this position is between $24.00 - $48.00 per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.The annual salary for this position is between $53,000.00 - $106,000.00 annually.
