Location: Cowpens, SC, United States

Shift: 8 Hour Shift Schedule w/ hours of 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm - (flexible start time) working Mon - Fri

Hourly Rate: $33-$40 Per Hour Dependent Upon Experience/Skills

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Performs preventive maintenance using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and supports continuous improvement efforts. Must work safely, independently, and with attention to detail. Works Day Shift 8 Hour Schedule w/ hours of 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm - working Mon - Fri

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues from power distribution to controls
• Use CMMS to create, manage and complete maintenance work orders
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and part catalogs for accurate repairs
• Research and requisition parts to support repairs/stores replenishment.
• Support bi-annual facility shutdowns and occasional call-in maintenance needs
• Participate in lean/process improvement initiatives and suggest process improvements
• Conduct weekly Gemba walk to identify and address opportunities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment including weekly departmental deep cleaning
• All other duties as assigned

Who You Are

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school training or 5+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
• Skilled in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Proficient in using hand and power tools, multi-meters, amp clamps, etc.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalogs
• Comfortable with MS Office suite, Outlook Email, CMMS software
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to following protocols
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Effective communicator and team player
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing frequent bending, squatting, and walking
• Comfortable working in noisy, hot, cold, or dusty manufacturing environments
• 8 hour Schedule: 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm - working from Mon-Fri
• Overtime and call-in work may be required
