Summary: The Med Tech performs a variety of chemical, hematologic, serologic, immunohematologic, microscopic, and microbiologic analyses for disease diagnosis and treatment.

- 100+ bed hospital with several satellite locations \n

Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Conducts hematology and chemistry analyses, operating current instrumentation and performing manual testing. \n
- Completes STAT tests (CBC, PTT, Protime, electrolytes, BUN, Creatinine, cardiac enzymes, therapeutic drug levels) within specified timeframes. \n
- Orders tests and reports results \n
- Prepares special reports, manages quality control, and ensures validity of test results. \n
- Maintains instrumentation and performs preventive maintenance \n
- Trains new staff and students, follows safety protocols, and adheres to hospital policies and procedures. \n
