I am looking for an elder care giver for my dad. He is a Veteran and a retired driver who loves to talk about his favorite pastime as well as tinkering with building his model ships he hasn't yet gotten around to. The ideal candidate will engage in meaningful companionship, ensuring a positive and supportive environment. Responsibilities will include assisting with basic daily activities, helping with personal care needs, reminders to take medication already planned out in weekly planners and maintaining a safe and comfortable home atmosphere. To include light housekeeping as needed and encouraging short walks outside in the fresh air. This is a part-time position, 4hrs a day 3-4 days a week (Fri, Sat, Sun and possibly a weekday that works for both parties). Focused on providing both home care and personal care. Split shifts (2hrs AM, 2hrs PM) may be an option to help with AM and PM medication reminders if that works with your schedule or if maybe you live nearby. I am offering $18-25 per hour for this role depending on experience.
