Vice President, Product Management and Investor Relations, Alternative Credit

Role Summary Vice President, Investor Relations – Alternative Credit Product Management. Based in New York, this role handles investor relationships, product development, marketing strategy, and marketing & due diligence materials for Ares Alternative Credit, focusing on insurance‑focused strategies. Key Responsibilities Lead investor relations activities for Alt Credit funds and separately managed accounts, including Alt Credit investments for Aspida. Develop and maintain marketing and due diligence materials such as private placement memoranda (PPM), pitch books, fact sheets, DDQs, RFPs, and track‑record analyses. Collaborate with business development, marketing, legal, compliance, portfolio management, finance, and operations to synthesize information for communication materials. Provide routine and ad‑hoc reporting, market and competitor research, and ongoing market trend analysis. Coordinate logistics and presentation materials for investor meetings and industry conferences. Draft written correspondence, mass communications, and customized follow‑ups for investors. Develop and execute strategic initiatives to identify market opportunities and support product launches. Manage marketing initiatives in targeted regions and investor channels. Coordinate due diligence and onboarding processes for new investors. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. FINRA Series7, 63 and SIE licenses required (or ability to obtain within 3months). Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate at all organizational levels. Detail‑oriented, multi‑tasking, deadline‑oriented, and proactive. High motivation, strong work ethic, and ethical judgment. Exceptional relationship building skills with institutional and retail investors, consultants, and internal constituents. Experience in alternative credit and/or the insurance industry preferred. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Salesforce, and Intralinks (or other data‑room platform). Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $180,000–$225,000. Total compensation may include a discretionary performance‑based bonus.
