Shift: Part-time

Columbia Club, a private city club established in 1889, on Monument Circle, offers an opportunity for those seeking to join our dedicated team. With 20,000 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting and event facilities, en-suite guest rooms, and multiple dining rooms, Columbia Club provides a unique and distinguished experience. Complemented by member services and a Health & Wellness Center, the Club embodies excellence in every aspect of city club life.

Job Responsibilities:

· Stocks room attendant’s cart and hand caddy.

· Strips and remakes beds with fresh linen.

· Empties wastebaskets.

· Cleans guestrooms.

· Wipes all windowsills, walls and light switches.

· Vacuums.

· Dust all furniture and fixtures.

· Check lamps for burned-out light bulbs.

· Put a comment card and room service menu on the desk; ensure all phone books are on the nightstand.

· Check drapes for missing hooks.

· Wipes mirrors and windows.

· Checks heating and air conditioning unit for proper operation.

· Change mattress pads and blankets if needed.

· Restocks all stationary.

· Cleans and sanitizes toilets.

· Washes tiles, tub, shower walls, and fixtures.

· Wipes shower curtain.

· Cleans sink and fixtures.

· Cleans walls, baseboards, and floor.

· Restocks towels, washcloths, soap, glasses, and other supplies and amenities.

· Reports when guestrooms are clean and ready for Housekeeping Supervisor inspection.

· Attends staff meetings.

· Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Qualifications:

Work Experience:

· High School diploma or general equivalence diploma (G.E.D.)

Overtime and Job Requirements:

· Must be available and willing to work a flexible schedule

· Must be available to work some weekends and holidays
