This opportunity is ideal for an organized, customer-focused professional who communicates clearly, types accurately, and is comfortable navigating multiple computer systems.This position offers:Employee Assistance Program – 24/7 counseling services, legal assistance, & financial consultation for you and your household at no costMileage Reimbursement – Company paid for work functions requiring travelEmployee Discounts – Hotels, Theme Parks & Attractions, College TuitionWorkplace Culture - An environment cultivating employee wellbeing, valuing each individual's humanity, and actively promoting a healthy, joyful workforceAdditional Perks & Benefits - Scroll down to bottom of this post to learn moreKey Responsibilities:Answer incoming and interoffice calls, identify callers' needs, and connect them promptly with the appropriate team members or services.Screen customer contacts for routine and crisis-related needs and process each call according to established procedures.Schedule and cancel client appointments accurately, including documenting the correct cancellation disposition.Verify client addresses, phone numbers, insurance details, and other demographic information at each appointment check-in.Complete essential clerical duties, including sending appointment letters and reminders, maintaining files and activity logs, preparing reports, and entering information into tracking systems promptly.Use designated websites and software systems to verify insurance eligibility and referral sources.Communicate professionally and collaborate effectively with clinic staff to support a positive customer experience.Protect confidential information and follow HIPAA guidelines in every interaction with customers and coworkers.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.Previous customer service experience preferred.Additional Qualifications:Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and typing skills.Work independently while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail.Use computers, websites, and multiple software systems confidently.Maintain a current driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.Successfully complete required background screenings, including criminal record, driving record, abuse and neglect, and fingerprint checks.Physical RequirementsThis position requires sedentary work, including exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. The role involves repetitive movement of the hands, fingers, and arms for typing and writing throughout the work shift.
