Principal Quality Engineer
Virtual Vocations Inc
Hands-on and detail-oriented, the remote Principal Quality Engineer will manage cross-team project quality, write and maintain test code, and apply secure-by-design principles while collaborating with multiple engineering teams. Key responsibilities Own the testing of projects that span multiple teams, ensuring quality verification and coverage of quality risks Write, review, and maintain test code and frameworks, contributing to shared test tooling and debugging flaky tests Architect and maintain Automation Frameworks and AI Agents to enhance test suite generation and provide real-time risk assessments Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience Typically 12+ years of relevant experience in software QA methodologies and tools Expertise in writing production-grade code in multiple programming languages Advanced knowledge of relational/NoSQL databases and release pipelines Ability to influence quality initiatives across teams without direct authority
