Web Application Engineer

Role Description

Web Application Engineer contributes to the development, maintenance, and evolution of web-based interfaces used within an existing Automatic Train Supervision (ATS) platform. The role focuses on operator and engineering applications, with work spanning frontend development, backend integration, and K8S-based development environments.

Develop and enhance ATS HMI features such as operator views, alarms, dashboards, and control workflows
Work on an existing ATS platform, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and functional evolution
Contribute across the stack where needed, including Angular frontend and Java-based services
Integrate real-time and service-based data from backend systems
Support local and Kubernetes-based development setups used for application integration and testing
Collaborate with system, testing, and infrastructure teams
Help ensure performance, usability, and reliability of mission-critical interfaces

Qualifications

Strong Angular experience
Strong Java experience
10 years of experience
Professional English

Requirements

Experience with web application development in operational or industrial environments
Experience integrating with Websocket, gRPC, or other real-time/service-based backend interfaces
Experience working on existing or legacy platforms
Familiarity with Kubernetes-based development environments
Ability to work autonomously
