MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR - 2ND SHIFT

Summary of Position Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will execute reliability, maintenance, and repair activities for production equipment, building, and grounds to ensure maximum operational productivity and efficiencies. The role is hands‑on and requires high technical expertise, including participation in CAPX projects, preventive maintenance, and repair work. Use CMMS (MVP One) to oversee assignment, execution, and record‑keeping for daily PM and M&R work orders and projects. Act as technical expert, trainer, and consultant to the maintenance team for troubleshooting and repairs. Achieve or exceed KPIs, review performance consistently, investigate shortfalls, and develop improvement plans to enhance OEE. Control monthly maintenance spending in alignment with the company’s cost‑conscious culture. Maintain a clean, organized maintenance shop and parts room, overseeing equipment, inventory, and supplies. Promote a positive team culture, ensuring productivity, continuous improvement, safety, food safety, and quality. Monitor and enforce safe work standards, complete daily safety inspections, conduct toolbox talks, and investigate accidents with corrective actions. Ensure compliance with food safety and quality requirements and GMPs, reporting issues to relevant managers. Master company policies and procedures, holding the team accountable and acting as a role model and coach. Desired Qualifications Minimum 7 years industrial maintenance experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role. Extensive technical knowledge in mechanical, fabrication, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, and controls. Experience building and training a maintenance team. Experience with predictive and preventive maintenance programs and CMMS. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Excellent planning and organizational abilities. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline; or equivalent education/training. Preferred: Food processing experience. Preferred: Knowledge of LEAN and industry best practices. Preferred: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Preferred: EHS experience. Desired Personal Traits Self‑starter with a strong work ethic and sense of urgency.
