Job Description Job Description Delivery Driver – CDL A, B, D & E Welcome Capitol City Produce – Robertsdale, AL | Full-Time Pay by License Class: Class A CDL – $20.00+/hr Class B CDL – $19.00/hr Class D (AL) / Class E (FL) – $18.00/hr Weekly pay + on-demand pay available. About the Role Join the Capitol City Produce team and be the face of fresh. As a Delivery Driver, you’ll operate a CDL refrigerated truck delivering fresh produce to our customers across the Robertsdale area. You’ll work under the Transportation Leadership team and be counted on for safe, efficient, and reliable service every day. Schedule Routes typically begin at 3:30 AM and end by 6:00 PM. Availability required for mornings, afternoons, early evenings, weekends, and holidays. Schedule is set by the Transportation Manager and may be adjusted based on business needs. Responsibilities Safely operate a CDL refrigerated box truck on assigned delivery routes Deliver fresh produce to customers accurately and on time Provide exceptional customer service at every stop Maintain professional communication with customers, dispatch, and CCP staff Comply with DOT regulations and all safety standards Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of assigned vehicle Requirements Valid Class A, B, D (AL), or E (FL) Driver’s License Minimum 1 year of experience driving box trucks or larger Clear MVR – no more than 1 moving violation in the past 12 months Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card Available mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Matching 401(k) Paid vacation and holidays Supplemental insurance – life, accident, cancer, and short-term disability Wellness program Weekly pay + on-demand pay Employee training and development Opportunity for advancement Secured facility access About Capitol City Produce Capitol City Produce is a leading fresh produce distributor serving restaurants, grocers, and institutions across the Southeast.
