Software Developer

This is a hybrid role that would require team members to come onsite once per month in either La Crosse, WI or Rosemont, IL. Position Responsibilities: Designs, develops and deploys new custom software with a clear understanding of the value the software is to provide. Produces clean, efficient, well-commented code based on requirements and design. Analyzes, designs, generates and maintains SQL databases, stored procedures and other database objects. Troubleshoots complex processes, diagnoses the root cause and provides a stable solution without incurring technical debt. Produces accurate and clear documentation, both technical documents for the development team and user guides. Communicates these appropriately to the user base as needed. Helps maintain the backlog of requests and ideas, provides analysis and feedback regarding effort and risk, and helps refine tasks and prioritize and plan work. Willingness and ability to travel up to 5% of the time Other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and minimum 6 plus years of experience in a combination of the following areas: application and system development and integration, data modeling/querying/analysis, database management and design, and technical documentation OR High School Diploma/General Education Diploma and 9 plus years of the above stated experience Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree Highly proficient in T-SQL, knowledgeable in SSRS Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages with preference in C# or C++ Experience with CSS, HTML5 and Bootstrap UI experience with Razor, JavaScript and jQuery Benefits At the Reyes Family of Businesses, our Total Rewards Strategy prioritizes the holistic well-being of our employees.
