Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for students, taking into consideration their personal history, current challenges, and any risk factors that may impact their well-being.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with students, focusing on mental health issues and promoting emotional resilience.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care to address a spectrum of mental health issues.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing personal growth, emotional regulation, and the acquisition of effective coping skills.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure coordinated care and a comprehensive approach to each student’s treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies, utilizing de-escalation strategies and appropriately referring students for higher-level care when required.

• Educate students and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources to foster understanding and support.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve a diverse student body, ranging from early childhood to high school ages, each with unique backgrounds and mental health concerns. The role requires sensitivity to cultural differences and an understanding of various mental health issues that may affect students' learning processes and social interactions within the school setting.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LICSW licensure in Massachusetts.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health or educational environments, demonstrating understanding and expertise in therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We are proud to offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
