Firmware Developer

Firmware DeveloperAt First IT Solutions, we are looking for a Firmware Developer for a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have at least 7-8 years of C/C++ development experience in an embedded Linux environment, including low level kernel OS subsystems and multi-threaded environments such as Linux* and ThreadX* or other RTOS. The candidate should have a strong understanding of networking concepts and the ability to study and analyze hardware schematics as part of troubleshooting and creating rework instructions. Knowledge in IPMI specification and software engineering methodology is also required.Desirable Functional Skills include knowledge in Firmware Engineering environment, experience with Intel architecture and/or micro-architecture with knowledge of processor, chipset, memory, I/O-subsystems, and bus protocols, scripting and vector cast experience, understanding of the Agile and Scrum methods, and the ability to quickly learn and handle complex problems related to firmware and its interaction with the hardware.Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree or higher.Job Status: Full Time
