Job Description The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Forklift Operator to work at a company located in the Rogers, AR area!Job Title: Forklift Operator Job Location: Rogers, AR Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: Up to $18/hr Job Description: Job Summary
We are seeking a safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The primary goal of this role is the efficient movement of inventory while maintaining a zero-accident environment. You will be responsible for operating industrial vehicles to load, unload, and stack materials in accordance with strict safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Navigate sit-down/stand-up forklifts through high-traffic zones, adhering to facility speed limits and right-of-way rules.
- Inspection & Maintenance: Conduct mandatory pre-shift equipment inspections and document any mechanical defects or safety concerns.
- Load Integrity: Ensure all palletized goods are stable and secured before transport to prevent product damage or workplace hazards.
- Environmental Awareness: Maintain 360-degree situational awareness, utilizing horns at intersections and following pedestrian safety guidelines.
- Minimum 3 years of forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in various climate conditions.
- Drug-Free Workplace: As a safety-sensitive position, employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check, where permitted by law.
- At-Will Employment: Employment with us is "at-will," meaning either the employee or the company may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice.
