NOW HIRING - PRESS OPERATOR - 3 RD Shift

Location: Elk Grove Village, IL

Hours 5:45 PM to 6:15 AM; 2-2-3 Schedule

• Week 1: Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days.
• Week 2: Off 2 days, work 2 days, off 3 days.
• Repeat

Pay: $30.98/Hour


We're hiring Three reliable and experienced Press Operators for a well-established company in Elk Grove Village, IL . This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential. Qualified candidates will be interviewed by the onsite supervisors prior to placement.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Press Operators to maintain the workflow and work quality on assigned press runs.
• Bring materials for press set-ups to press sites.
• Clean presses on job changes.
• Performing complex operations requires set up, operating and feed cylinder type printing press to produce a variety of items.
• Operate Printing Press according to company printing procedures and guidelines.
• Direct Press Helper according to company printing procedures.
• Set-up jobs with assistance in the press and monitor the quality of the print as the press is running.
• Responsible for quality and safety of set-up and safe operational procedures.
• Communicate pertinent matters of the job with the press operator from the opposite shift at the beginning and end of the shift.
• Check first piece conformance to specifications.
• Must have direct experience with Wide Web Flexo packaging. Preferably, experience in the following presses: Uteco, Flexo Technical, W&H, and Comexi.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent job experience
• Mechanical Aptitude,
• Math Skills,
• Speak, Read and Write English
• Experience in operating Flexographic presses in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
