Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Schedule: 12-Hour Night Shift

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 16 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience required
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in specialty required
• Current NY license or proof of application
• BLS certification required, CMSRN preferred
• NIHSS certification required prior to starting

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and create nursing care plans
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for patient care
• Document patient care accurately and timely
• Provide education to patients and families about care plans
• Utilize EMR for patient documentation and communication
