Job Overview: Experienced Material Handler 3 are responsible for moving, picking, storing, scanning, counting, and preparing merchandise for shipment while operating heavy machinery with precision, using an Electric Pallet Jack and Sit-down Forklift.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Operate an Electric Pallet Jack and Sit-down Forklift to move pallets and put away items in assigned warehouse locations.
• Load or package boxes and crates for shipping while ensuring accuracy of contents
• Assist with packing materials distribution and disposal of empty boxes
• Stock items in assigned locations within the warehouse and take part in the inventory count process
• Accurately pick merchandise from existing stock to fill customer's orders
• Unpack boxes following standard procedures

Additional Responsibilities: As assigned by the manager

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must be able to Lift 50lbs independently and up 80lbs with assistance
• Extended periods of standing/walking (10+ hours/day)
• Attention to detail and ability to count
• Must be able to locate and identify specific items
• Must be able to use of a hand scanner to enter data in a computer system
• Must be able to manually pack and seal boxes following standard procedures
• Must have at least 1 years of Sit-down Forklift experience
• Must have at least 1 years of Electric Pallet Jack experience

Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses: Minimum 6 months experience in a Warehouse. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Environment/Occupational Risks: Must be able to lift 50lbs independently and up to 80lbs with assistance. Extended periods of standing/walking.
