Sales Assistant

Job Overview The Sales Assistant supports the sales director and team in residential and assisted living marketing and office tasks. The assistant is the first contact for prospective residents, establishing a positive and professional tone. Responsibilities Respond to inbound calls, emails, and website inquiries, recording information and directing to appropriate staff. Greet visitors and provide general information or refer to sales staff. Enter inquiry data into the approved CRM system. Assist with or conduct tours of residential and assisted living units. Coordinate marketing events—prepare invitations, verify attendance, distribute event forms, schedule tours and finalize event logistics. Prepare orientation packets, move‑in info, phone directory, and name plates for new residents. Supply administrative support to the sales director and assisted‑living staff: prepare correspondence, key reports, memos, track apartment extras, and support the occupancy cycle and admission/move‑in processes. Maintain a professional, organized office and department storage, including inventory of supplies and promotional materials. Collaborate with resident volunteers or concierge to prepare brochures and applications for distribution. Education and Experience High‑school education required. College or business education preferred. Minimum of one year related office experience with clerical or administrative support. Experience in a visible office with public interaction, preferably in sales, marketing, or healthcare. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of senior care and senior living lifestyle preferred. Ability to remain calm in an emergency. Maintain confidentiality when circulating general information. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM software a plus. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal, English); tactful with staff, residents, family, and the public. Good organizational skills and self‑direction in planning and carrying out responsibilities. Dependable, flexible, motivated, and willing to take initiative. Physical Requirements Mostly office work; requires mobility to move around the market area, occasional handling of lightweight materials, and ability to use telephone, computer, printer, and other office equipment. Ability to staff a display in a public setting is required. Compensation $22.00 – $25.00 per hour.
