Quality Assurance Associate

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Quality Administrator - Level 1 to join our growing quality assurance team. In this entry-level role, you will work closely with quality engineers, compliance specialists, and production staff to manage document logs, organize quality data, and support daily inspection workflows. This is a hands-on opportunity to build your foundational knowledge in quality management systems, support compliance requirements, and contribute to an efficient manufacturing environment.

• Maintain, organize, and update quality records, travelers, inspection logs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in physical files and the quality management system.
• Assist the quality team with preparing inspection packets, gathering calibration records, and organizing documentation for internal and external audits.
• Compile daily scrap logs, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and basic yield metrics into standardized spreadsheets or database trackers.
• Receive, label, and log incoming sample parts, test coupons, and quality supplies while maintaining an organized, clean work area.
• Participate in plant 5S, administrative housekeeping, and Lean initiatives to keep the quality office and archives organized and audit-ready.
• Strictly comply with all safety rules, data security protocols (such as ITAR/CMMC data handling guidelines), and company standard operating procedures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Poway, CA.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
