Vice President, Scrum Leader

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Scrum Lead to join our Conventional Trust team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL.

The Scrum Lead for Conventional Trust is responsible for actively establishing, embedding, and strengthening Scrum practices across one or more teams and programs. This is not a passive facilitation role; the Scrum Lead is expected to challenge teams, Product Owners, stakeholders, and ways of working to drive accountability, transparency, continuous improvement, and stronger delivery outcomes.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Ensure Scrum principles and practices are followed, and Scrum team events occur, are productive, and kept within timeboxes.
• Facilitate and guide teams to deliver expected outcomes with high quality and focus on creating increments of value for each iteration.
• Establish and maintain Scrum practices, facilitating understanding of Scrum practice within the Team and the organization and ensure all Scrum events take place, are productive, and kept within the timebox.
• Remove impediments to the Team’s progress and track and resolve team dependencies.
• Coach Teams in self-management, cross-functionality, and help focus on creating high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done.
• Facilitate stakeholder collaboration, support Product Owners in backlog management and empirical product planning and help the organization adopt an empirical approach for complex work

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 4-8 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably with technical experience.

• Experience as a Scrum Master for software development teams on large initiatives and knowledge of Agile approaches such as Scrum, SAFe, XP, Kanban, and Spotify.

• Proficiency with Agile techniques including User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, and Agile Games.

• Experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• Ability to quickly learn new technology and translate ambiguous topics into actionable plans with multiple stakeholders.

• Excellent communication, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.

• Preferred Agile certifications including CSM, PSM, SAFe SSM.

• Talent for driving change, building consensus, and resolving conflicts across multiple parties.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
