Mammographer Opportunity

Our client, a leading health system in Pueblo, CO, is seeking a Mammographer to join their team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in preventative healthcare by performing mammography examinations and supporting patient health journeys.

Responsibilities:

• Performs mammography examinations and meets quality standards set by Radiologists and ACR guidelines.
• Produces quality images in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
• Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to "as low as reasonably achievable" (ALARA). Prepares patient for exam.
• Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.
• Assists in breast biopsies with physicians and handles appropriate paperwork and specimens.
• Observes patient and equipment during the procedure and reports/documents unusual occurrences and records patient's condition.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Registered Radiology Technologist, Mammography
• BLS through the American Heart Association
• Licensed Radiology Tech (Kansas sites only)
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
• One (1) year of imaging experience
• Certified Bone Densitometry XRay certification

Schedule:

• Full Time

Compensation:

• $33.43 - $58.49/hour
