Try new things, learn new skills and discover what you excel at—all from Day One.The Technical Product Manager is responsible for end-to-end product and financial management of assigned technology portfolios, partnering closely with engineering, finance, and business stakeholders to deliver market-ready capabilities aligned to enterprise strategy. This role combines product leadership, cloud financial stewardship (FinOps), and technical acumen to drive value, optimize cloud spend, and ensure disciplined execution across complex, multi-team initiatives, with a strong emphasis on AWS-based platforms and financial accountability.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn strategic product management for assigned technical product lines in support of enterprise objectivesPartner with stakeholders to define, document, prioritize, and deliver product features and capabilitiesApply FinOps principles to improve cloud cost transparency, forecasting accuracy, and financial accountabilityCollaborate with engineering and finance to promote cost-aware engineering and cloud optimization initiativesParticipate in budgeting and financial planning for technology portfolios, including CapEx/Opex managementOversee monthly forecasting, variance analysis, and financial opportunity identificationManage vendor financials, including SOWs, invoicing, and adherence to financial controls and business case standardsPrepare concise, executive-ready updates and summaries covering delivery progress, risks, and financial healthTailor communications for portfolio reviews and strategic investment discussions to ensure clarity and actionabilityBuild strong cross-functional relationships across product, engineering, business, finance, and vendor teamsProvide leadership and mentoring to portfolio managers, product managers, and agile teamsPromote delivery discipline, value measurement, and continuous improvement through coaching and playbooksPartner with agile teams to ensure timely delivery of marketable capabilities aligned to product roadmapsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience8+ years of experience in technology product, portfolio, or program managementDemonstrated experience leading multi-team initiatives with significant budget responsibilityExperience in financial planning and analysis for technology portfolios, including forecasting and variance resolutionStrong understanding of product lifecycle management and cross-functional deliveryAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 and portfolio/product management toolingExceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentation experiencePreferred QualificationsFoundational understanding of cloud technologies and architectures (AWS and/or Azure)Practical knowledge of FinOps principles and exposure to cloud financial management toolsExperience aligning technical investment decisions with business metrics and KPIsAbility to understand product technical architecture and the economics of technology investmentsStrong collaboration skills with software engineering teams to execute product vision and roadmapExperience developing reusable product and delivery playbooksFinOps certification (FinOps.org)This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.If there's anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.Benefits:Healthcare (medical, dental, vision)Basic term and optional term life insuranceShort-term and long-term disabilityPregnancy disability and parental leave401(k) and employer-funded retirement planPaid vacation (from two to five weeks depending on salary grade and tenure)Up to 11 paid holiday opportunitiesAdoption assistanceSick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 80 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by lawU.S. Bank is an equal opportunity employer. Pay Range: $126,820.00 - $149,200.00
