The selected candidate will be tasked with the provision of thorough medical care to patients, operating with both autonomy and in conjunction with fellow healthcare professionals. This appointment necessitates substantial diagnostic, evaluative, and therapeutic proficiencies, as well as refined communication and interpersonal abilities. The practice serves a diverse patient population, encompassing both fee-for-service and Medicare Advantage enrollees.Primary Care Physician - Duties and ResponsibilitiesExamine and diagnose patients, order appropriate diagnostic tests, and prescribe medicationsDevelop and manage treatment plans for patients, including preventive care and health maintenanceEducate patients and families about health issues, disease prevention, and medical treatmentsRefer patients to specialists and other healthcare professionals as neededCommunicate with other healthcare providers to coordinate quality patient careKeep detailed medical records and document patient care activitiesSchedule, Compensation & Benefits40 hours per week, from 8:00 am to 5:00pm, PTO CME, 401 match 3%Life insurance, relocation assistanceFull support staffRequirementsBC in Primary Care or Internal Medicine or Family MedicineCurrent Florida State Medical license or willing to obtain
