Network Security Architect

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect / Network SME with deep expertise in Palo Alto Networks and Aruba Networking Solutions to lead the design, implementation, optimization, and support of enterprise-scale network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong architecture experience across LAN, WAN, WLAN, network security, and cloud-connected environments while serving as a technical leader for strategic networking initiatives.

This role requires hands-on expertise in designing secure, scalable, and highly available network solutions that support business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise network infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Lead network transformation, modernization, and optimization initiatives.
• Design, deploy, and support Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) .
• Configure and optimize Aruba wired and wireless networking solutions .
• Develop secure network architectures including segmentation, Zero Trust, and access control strategies.
• Design and implement SD-WAN, WAN, LAN, WLAN, and cloud connectivity solutions.
• Perform network assessments, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Lead network security initiatives, firewall policy reviews, and threat mitigation efforts.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues across enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams.
• Develop network standards, architecture documentation, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise networking experience.
• 5+ years of experience in network architecture or SME-level roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks security solutions.
• Strong expertise with Aruba switching and wireless technologies .
• Experience designing and supporting large-scale LAN/WAN environments.
• Deep understanding of routing and switching protocols:
• BGP
• OSPF
• EIGRP
• VLANs
• STP
• Experience with network segmentation and security architecture.
• Knowledge of VPN technologies, IPSec, SSL VPN, and remote access solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with network monitoring and performance management tools.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and documentation skills.
