Bay Area - Corporate Latin America Associate (Mid-Level)

We are seeking a mid-level associate to join our market-leading Corporate Latin America practice in either our Bay Area or New York offices. This role will focus primarily on sophisticated Latin American and U.S. transactions, with additional exposure to a broad range of general corporate matters. The ideal candidate will have experience representing emerging companies, venture capital and private equity investors, and/or investment funds, with transactional experience in venture capital financings, growth equity and private equity investments, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate matters. This is an exciting opportunity to join the leading Latin America and U.S. venture capital and startup practice serving a dynamic and entrepreneurial client base. Associates work closely with clients from day one, assume significant responsibility early, and play a key role in high-profile cross-border transactions involving founders, technology companies, and investors across the markets that Gunderson serves. Job Requirements JD (2020–2021) (preferable) or LLM degree Corporate transactional experience and prior large law firm experience – U.S. “white shoe” law firm experience is a plus Experience with M&A, private equity, and ideally venture capital transactions, including representation of emerging companies and/or investment funds Experience advising on Latin American transactions strongly preferred Admission to the New York and/or California Bar required Spanish working proficiency required Salary Range $365,000 - $390,000 #J-18808-Ljbffr Gunderson Dettmer
