We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. We are seeking a dedicated, dependable caregiver to provide hands-on support for a wonderful woman in her home. This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable with full personal cares and enjoys building a meaningful, supportive relationship while maintaining a calm and structured environment. Responsibilities include assisting with all personal cares such as bed baths and showering, transitions using a Hoyer lift, as well as administering medications (G-tube and oral) as necessary. She requires consistent, attentive care throughout the day, including support with mobility, hygiene, and daily routines. No overnight shifts are required. In addition to her care needs, she is warm, playful, and will love to be around you! Especially through activities like reading, movies, arts and crafts, and short outdoor walks. This role is also a great fit for someone interested in the medical field or who has prior healthcare experience, as it offers valuable hands-on exposure to skilled caregiving. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, physically capable, and either experienced in caregiving or eager to learn, with a genuine passion for providing high-quality care. WHAT THE CLIENT LOVES THAT WE HOPE YOU DO TOO: Loves being read to, the more animated the better Enjoys arts and crafts Short outdoor walks to the park or sitting outside with you by her side Disney movies Nails and hair done SCHEDULE 10-24 hours per week, mostly on weekdays Open to late mornings, afternoons, evening shifts - No overnights required On-call and flexible scheduling options – you can collaborate with the family to create a schedule that works for everyone RESPONSIBILITIES: As an In-Home Caregiver, you’ll play an important role in the persons daily routine and overall comfort. Responsibilities include: Bathing - Bed baths & showers as necessary Toileting - Diaper changes Dressing - As needed Grooming - Hair styling & teeth brushed, painting nails Transfers - Using a Hoyer lift Repositioning as necessary Meal Prep - G-Tube feeding Medication - through the G-Tube and one orally Outings - The Donna Lexa community Art Center and specializes in helping people with all sorts of disabilities find positives way to express themselves. They are very helpful with ideas and materials for both the clients and caregivers so the caregiver doesn’t have to have any particular artistic abilities.
