Job Title: Manufacturing Technician – 3rd Shift (Fill/Finish) Job Description

This role supports the Fill/Finish department by filling, capping, labeling, and assembling both sub-assemblies and finished products in a GMP-regulated environment. You will operate manual and automated filling equipment, handle temperature-sensitive materials, and work in cleanroom and manufacturing settings to ensure products meet stringent quality and regulatory standards. • Fill, cap, and label vials, bottles, and tubes individually and as part of a team in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure products meet or exceed quality specifications.
• Operate manual and automated filling equipment to support daily production activities in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Perform product filling, assembly, labeling, packaging, and kit assembly for sub-assemblies and finished goods.
• Ensure all products meet customer, quality, and regulatory specifications, including GMP and other applicable standards.
• Complete production documentation accurately and thoroughly to maintain regulatory compliance and traceability.
• Work in both manufacturing and cleanroom environments while following all personal protective equipment (PPE) and contamination-control requirements.
• Handle temperature-sensitive materials according to established procedures, including work involving cold storage environments.
• Collaborate closely with production and quality teams to meet daily production goals, timelines, and output requirements.
• Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, and tools in accordance with cleaning procedures and schedules.
• Transport materials, components, and finished goods to support efficient production workflows and inventory movement.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety guidelines, and company policies at all times to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status, issues, and process improvements.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or cleanroom environments.
• Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to perform metric conversions.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal procedures accurately.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to document work and collaborate with team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet production deadlines.
• Ability to operate filling, capping, and labeling equipment after training.
• Capability to work safely with PPE in cleanroom and manufacturing areas.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in cold storage environments as needed.

• Experience working in GMP, ISO, or FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.
• Experience operating automated manufacturing or filling equipment.
• Experience using pipettes in a production or laboratory setting.
• Associate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific or technical field.
• Familiarity with cleanroom operations and contamination-control practices.
• Knowledge of fill/finish manufacturing processes, including capping and labeling.
• Understanding of quality control principles, SOP adherence, and production documentation requirements.
• Experience with material handling and production workflows in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team-focused, goal-driven environment.

This position is based in a cleanroom and manufacturing setting on a 3rd shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. You will work in GMP-regulated production areas that require strict adherence to safety and contamination-control practices. The role involves the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, gowning, and lab coats. You may work with chemicals, biological materials, and other hazardous substances while following established safety procedures. The position includes exposure to cold storage environments, with temperatures as low as approximately -22&degree;F (-6&degree;C), and requires the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. The environment offers hands-on experience with kit production, large-scale manufacturing, and GMP practices, providing strong development opportunities for individuals interested in building a career in science and regulated manufacturing.

This is a Contract position based out of FREDERICK, MD.

The pay range for this position is $22.05 - $22.05/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
