Candle Assistant

The Candle Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the production, packaging, and overall customer experience at The Black Candle Company. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys working with their hands, and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. The Candle Assistant will assist with candle production, class preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities Assist with the production of candles, including pouring, labeling, and packaging. Maintain quality control standards to ensure all products meet brand guidelines. Help prepare and set up materials for candle-making classes and events. Clean and organize the production and workshop areas regularly. Manage inventory of supplies and report any shortages. Assist with fulfilling customer orders, including packaging and shipping. Provide friendly and helpful customer service during classes and events. Support company-wide promotions, events, and special projects as needed. Requirements Previous experience in a production, retail, or hospitality environment is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Good organizational and time management skills. Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Passion for creativity and a desire to learn more about candle-making.
