Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients, ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centered treatments according to established standards. Supervises and coordinates nursing staff activities while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient health status and collect relevant clinical data.
  
  
• 
  Develop individualized care plans and prescribe appropriate interventions.
  
  
• 
  Implement and coordinate care delivery while promoting a safe and healing environment.
  
  
• 
  Evaluate patient progress and adjust plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
  
  
• 
  Delegate tasks effectively to nursing team members and collaborate with other healthcare providers.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  
  
• 
  Possess a Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate at least two years of recent experience in a medical-surgical nursing setting.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  
  
• 
  Have ACLS certification; PALS preferred.
