Job Purpose:
To provide expert-level support and configuration for the SAP Funds Management (FM) module, focusing on budget control, financial reporting, and system integration. This role ensures effective financial process automation and cross-functional data flow across SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-level functional support and consultation for SAP FM requirements and configurations.
Design and implement financial processes covering general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, and budget execution.
Manage fiscal periods and coordinate period-end closing tasks.
Ensure seamless integration of financial data across SAP modules.
Act as a technical subject matter expert across multiple SAP-related initiatives.
Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP systems.
Specialized expertise in SAP Funds Management (FM), including Budgetary Ledger, FM Derivation, Budgeting, and AVC (Availability Control).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead or contribute to complex financial SAP projects.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree).
Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) clearance.
Prior experience supporting financial systems in a federal or defense environment is required.

Preferred Skills: Experience supporting ERP systems in military or defense-focused settings.
Familiarity with DoD technical environments and IT frameworks.
Proficiency in SAP production support and post-go-live issue resolution.
Understanding of SAP modules such as ECC, BW, SCM, and SRM.
Experience using Help Desk ticketing systems and performance metrics reporting.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional SAP teams.
Knowledge of interface monitoring and error-handling within SAP.
