Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Critical Care

Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Assignment Details:
- Contract Weeks: 13
- Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:
- 2+ Years of Experience
- Post-operative open heart care experience
- Chest tube and other drain management experience
- Pre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral access
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, including reading and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips
- Advanced knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities
- Experience with assisting with chest tube removal, removal of pericardial pacing wires, and management of temporary pacers
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification
- Active American Heart Association ACLS certification
- Nursys must show Active Ohio/OH or Compact RN License

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patient care using age-specific criteria.
- Develop and implement patient care plans based on clinical judgment and scientific knowledge.
- Educate and direct non-RN staff, including LPNs and PCTs.
- Monitor and respond to changes in cardiac rhythms and patient conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
