ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in a primary self-contained classroom setting for the 2026–2027 school year.

Job Details

• Location: Phoenix, AZ

• Position: Special Education Teacher

• Setting: Elementary

• Schedule: Full-time

• Classroom: Primary self-contained SPED classroom

• Classroom Support: Classroom aides available to assist with student needs

Qualifications

• Valid Arizona Special Education teaching certification required

• Self-contained classroom experience preferred

• Experience writing and managing IEPs preferred

• Experience supporting students with ASD and developmental disabilities preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction in a self-contained elementary classroom

• Develop, implement, and monitor student IEPs

• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation

• Adapt instruction and materials to meet individual student needs

• Collaborate with classroom aides, related service providers, families, and school staff

• Support students' academic, behavioral, communication, and functional development
